CAL STATE FULLERTON 2002 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 17 matches, starting 16 finished fourth on the team in scoring with nine points and tied for fourth with three goals tied for second on the team with three assists named All-Big West Conference honorable mention third on the team with 29 shots had a goal against Montana and a pair of goals in the win over UC Santa Barbara had assists against Cal State Northridge, Utah State and the game-winning assist against UC Irvine also spent time in the spring of 2003 as a reserve outfielder on the Cal State Fullerton softball team, playing alongside her sister, Jodie. SPRING 2002: Spent time in camp with the U-19 U.S. National Team. 2001 (FRESHMAN): Named the teams Rookie of the Year after starting all 20 matches as a freshman named to the All-Big West First Team after scoring eight goals and seven assists to rank third on the team in scoring with 23 points had a goal in seven matches posted six points (2 goals, 2 assists) against San Francisco, which ranks in a tie for seventh on the schools list for most points in a single match. QUARTZ HILL HS Played four years of varsity soccer scored 23 goals and notched 23 assists in her senior season four-time all-league selection for soccer and was twice named the leagues MVP earned All-CIF honors her junior and senior seasons Cox also played four years of varsity softball as a centerfieler and three years of varsity volleyball as a setter/rightside hitter two-time all-league honors in softball and first-team all-league honors in volleyball her junior year also ran the 100m, 200m, 400m in track during her junior year earned California Scholastic Federation Lifetime honors and earned a 4.0 all four years to be named valedictorian of her graduating class. PERSONAL Born on December 20, 1983, in Lancaster, Calif. parents are Gary and Lynn her older sister, Jodie, was an All-American pitcher/outfielder for the nationally-ranked Cal State Fullerton softball team from 2000-03 also has a younger sister, Shannon played club soccer for the AVSC Ambush a business major at Cal State Fullerton chose Cal State Fullerton because of the coach, location, and choice of majors.
