CAL STATE FULLERTON 2002 (SOPHOMORE): Valentine was one of three players to start all 18 matches for the Titans despite playing with an ankle injury for the better part of the year named to the All-Big West honorable mention team helped anchor a Titan defense which set a school record for the second consecutive season for goals allowed (21) notched her first collegiate point with an assist in a victory over Pacific notched her first career goal in a 4-1 win over Idaho also had an assist against Long Beach State tied for 10th on the team with four points. 2001 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 16 matches on the year for the Titans, starting 14 of those did not score from the defensive back line, but did end up taking seven shots on the year earned All-Big West second team honors as a member of one of the stingiest defenses in school history. LA COSTA CANYON HS Four-year soccer letterwinner at La Costa Canyon for head coach Mike Nicholson earned Best Defense and first-team All-Avocado League honors in her freshman season and was named team MVP as a sophomore.
