Soccer Adds 12 to 2004 Recruiting Class May 19, 2004 Fullerton, Calif. The Cal State Fullerton womens soccer program signed one of the largest recruiting classes in school history, signing 10 players to National Letters of Intent and welcoming two transfers to the roster for the 2004 campaign Head Coach Ali Khosroshahin announced on Wednesday. This recruiting class will give us the much-needed depth we were missing last season, Khosroshahin said. This could be the most talented group of players we have ever brought to Cal State Fullerton. The list includes two transfers in midfielder Lisa Kosena (University of Arizona) and forward Rebekah Patrick (Lassen Community College). Kosena started all 19 matches for the Wildcats in 2003, scoring a goal and two assists. She had four goals and four assists for Arizona as a freshman. Patrick was a member of the 2002 NCAA National Champion Portland Pilots squad before transferring to Lassen, where she led the state in scoring with 83 points (33 goals, 17 assists). Khosroshahin has also brought in two international stars in Leslie Munoz, a member of Mexicos U-19 National Team, and Emma Humphries, a midfielder for New Zealands U-19s. The group of 10 freshmen include the first-ever twin sister tandem to play for the Titans in goalkeepers Jenna and Shayla Sabin from San Clemente HS (Slammers FC) and four All-CIF selections from the 2003 season. 2004 CAL STATE FULLERTON WOMENS SOCCER SIGNEES
