Championship Meet Moved to SLO Oct. 29, 2003 – Irvine, Calif.
The 2003 Big West Conference Cross Country Championshp Meet scheduled
for Saturday at UC Riverside today was moved to San Luis Obispo to escape
the unhealthy air in Southern California caused by massive wildfires.
The women's 6K and the men's 8K courses are laid out near Cuesta College,
which is located on Highway 1 about five miles northwest of its junction
with Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo. The men's race will start at 8:30
a.m. with the women to follow at 9:30 a.m.
